this sums up my family. and yes, now you believe that im the only daughter and the youngest in the family?

if you are wondering, why is mirza ( my nephew ) isnt in this picture? now here's why.

mirza is my cousin's son. my mum willingly with open heart wants to take care of mirza after the passing of my late aunt. if my aunt was in great health of cos my aunt will take care of him. but since my aunt pass away when mirza was 2-3 months old, my mum decided to take him. firstly, its convenient for my cousin to pick mirza up at the end of the day due to the fact that we both live at the same area, tampines.

secondly, its hard to trust maids nowadays, how they take care of your own child. its best to let your child being taken care of with someone you really know, someone from your own blood.

of cos, that doesnt mean we dont love mirza as much. we love him equally the same. in fact, my parents are crazy about mirza. a day without him and my parents are already calling my cousin asking him what is he doing. i too would text my cousin asking her to send me a picture of mirza just to see what is he up to. we all love mirza very much.

 what a grown up he is eh? :) hes turning 2 years old next month 14 october :)

now hold on there, of cos i will not forget about my very own flesh and blood, my own niece,alesha. now this is my first brother's daughter. my brother and my sister-in-law love her so much. why wont they be? it took them 8 PATIENT YEARS to finally been given a wonderful gift from allah s.w.t and that is my niece, alesha quraisyah ;)

see what i mean? such a wonderful gift from god. in fact the cutest thing ive ever seen! and her big eyes? she follows me :D (im proud to say this cos it is true)

that sums up my day of raya. dad's siblings came to house on first day of raya to visit my dad. only in the late evening we rushed to my aunt's house from my mum's side to visit my grandmother and seek forgiveness from her. and the next day was the day that i fell horribly sick! so my parents went rayaing without me :( how sad.

hows your raya so far? i couldnt be more than happy to celebrate it with an additional member in my family. 2 members in fact. alesha and mirza! :)
